First Communion and Confirmation

A course is run at St. Thomas More every year consisting of 12 sessions. This course is only for children from Year 4 upwards and who have been baptised in the Catholic faith.

The first five sessions involves  preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, with the children then receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation on a Wednesday evening. This is then followed by four sessions , taking the children through preparation for receiving the Eucharist and leading into Confirmation. Each session is held on a Wednesday evening at 6.00 in the St. Thomas More parish complex.

The final three sessions are completed at a overnight camp for the children and their parents.

The course for 2011 starts on June 1st with a parents only evening. For further information or to register your children please contact Margaret at the Parish office (07) 575 4807.
